| Journal 1: You were introduced to the concept of logos, ethos and pathos in class in the context of your persuasive essay. For this entry, identify what your topic is and then how you are going to use logos, ethos and pathos to support your thesis. Go into some detail, as we want at least a paragraph of explanation. |
| Journal 2: For the persuasive essay you are to use three outside sources that are academic quality. Explain, in a paragraph or so, what sources you have chosen, where you found them, and why you think they are credible. |
These are pass/fail, but all must be passed in order to receive a passing grade in the course. If you answer the question completely, it is passing. If you do not, it is failing, and you will be asked to revise it.
